Municipal campaigns are funded by residents, in small amounts. Signs, printing, and postage are what your donation pays for.
Contribution rules
The maximum contribution to a candidate in an Ontario municipal election is $1,200 per contributor.
Contributions may only be made by individuals who reside in Ontario. Corporations, unions, and anonymous donations cannot be accepted.
Municipal campaign contributions are not eligible for a tax credit or receipt for income tax purposes.
How to contribute
This campaign accepts contributions by Interac e-Transfer only. There is no online payment form.
In the message field, include your full name and your Ontario address. The campaign is required to record both for every contribution.
Keep the total at or under $1,200 — the legal maximum per contributor.
The official agent will confirm receipt by email.
